Recreational therapy is a form of treatment using recreation and leisure activities to improve an individual's quality of life. Recreation Therapy is provided to children ages 0-18 through the Medicaid Waiver and SED Programs (both are eligibility required). Therapists work with children of varying degrees of ability including those with physical disabilities, cognitive disabilities, developmental disabilities, neuromuscular disabilities, and mental health disorders. Therapists will introduce and adapt activities to make it accessible for the entire family to enjoy.
